Warp Room
No one stays in the same place forever. Choose your immediate destiny here, and be sure to pack some clean underwear.
Fanfiction
] Catriana Dot Net Nice fics, nice layout. Especially check out her Ranma 1/2 one-shots. All kinds of typical Ranma craziness. ;)
] Transformers Mirrorverse A series of fanfics set in a world much like the canon Transformers universe, but for one disturbing twist - the Autobots are the evil masters of an interstellar empire, and the
Decepticons are the embattled freedom fighters trying to protect Earth from those Autobot scoundrels. It's pretty cool, if a bit morbid at times.
] Beast Wars Fanfiction And Comedy Yeah, okay, so Beast Wars isn't anime. It's still a kick-ass-kawaii (cool, for you non-Japanese speakers) television
show. And the writers that have their works on this site are really sugoi (awesome) too. At least check out the comedy section. And check out my fics while you're at it... eh heh...
] Fan Fiction Mailing List An e*x*t*e*n*s*i*v*e database of fanfiction with professional commenters, regulated mailing list network (something like a message board
only using email) and more fics than you can shake a Tetsusaiga at (if you don't know what a Tetsusaiga is, look for Inu-Yasha fanfics first). Before signing up, though, read the faq - it's really long - but it's a requirement.
] Mystery Surreal Theatre Mystery Science Theatre is a television show that lampoons various bad
science-fiction flicks. Mystery Surreal Theatre is an anime version of that concept - the writer's cast of zanies poke fun at fanfiction, several mainstream shows, and the world in general. Worth checking out, especially if you're thinking of MSTing something or allowing your works
to be MST'd (hint, hint!).
] Alex's Anime Archive A fanfic archive containing Silent Mobius, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Bubblegum Crisis. Very good quality fanfics, although the Javascript is a bit cheesy. n.n;;
] Pokemon Master How many dark-themed Pokemon fanfics have you read in your lifetime? This writer is imaginative, very skilled and - amazingly - almost done with his fic. Go here even
if you don't like Pokemon, as there's a lot of Pokemon being killed, Pokemon being possessed... A word of warning: violence, sexual themes, etc, etc, so if you're not mature enough (half the kids in my school) then steer clear.
] The New Imperium Ah, Star Wars. One of those few genres of fanfiction that you can actually make money off of. I hope the people who write Star Wars can light the way to more fanfiction novels being published...
specifically... never mind. n.n;;;; Anyway, this is a coalition of Star Wars writers working on a big honkin' fanfic called "The Return". It's really interesting, especially if you're even remotely interested in science fiction.
] Gundamwing.org While searching for info on the Gundams - for my aspiring fic Gundam Future - I came across this sugoi site. This has everything - stats, scripts, fanfiction, fanart... makes my heart go
pitter-patter just thinking about it. I do love Gundam Wing.
] Test Tubes, Dragon Spawn and Demi-gods A really big multi-author Gundam Wing continuation fic chronicling the adventures of the Gundam pilots' offspring. This fic helped inspire
Gundam Crux Crucis, besides being a rockin' fic in its own right. You owe it to yourself to read all two hundred chapters.
] Stupid Lamborghini Tricks Yet more beautiful fics and art, this time centered around Sideswipe and Sunstreaker of Transformers fame. Also has ties to the Mirrorverse, as if that wasn't enough. Did I mention the awesome art and fics? Allow me to say it again: Awesome. Art. And. Fics. Nuff said.
] Beneath The Stars An expansive collection of fics, art, and comics (!) from Pokemon, Kirby, Beast Wars, and Final Fantasy universes, this place was the inspiration for Beast Wars Redux. And drat it if I ain't hooked. It'll take you a while to go through all the fics she's got, but there are some real gems in there. Check out especially Mystery Rebel Theater!
] Sapphire's Beast Wars Website I'd say the name says it all - Beast Wars, Beast Wars, and more Beast Wars. Character bios, fics, awards, humor, and quotes, and that's just the half of it. Check it out!
] Pacerpaw's Beast Wars Den Like Sapphire, Pacerpaw is a Beast Wars fanatic, and it shows. Fics and art galore, and also collages featuring most if not all the Beast Warriors. It's obvious Pacer's been working on her skillz. ;)
] TurtleQuestrian This site is eclectic, but primarily dedicated to - theme music, please - the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! I grew up on these guys, so the attraction on my part is obvious (not THAT kind of attraction, hentais!) It's got fics and art from multiple clever creators. I spent quite a few happy afternoons on Hi No De...
Art & Oekaki
] Peachtea's Spectrum Planetarium This site is highly recommended - loads of links, info, downloads, all kinds of cool stuff. Plus, it's
run by a couple of friends of mine. Make this your first stop.
] Pastime A Japanese site, but has an English version too. Kawaii graphics. ::swoons - Stella *loves* graphics!:: More info forthcoming.
] DeviantART Are you an artist? Do you like looking at cool art? Congratulations, you've reached nirvana! DeviantART is a massive artist/poet/writer community
that hosts pics of all genres, from chimpan-A to chimpan-Z. Most people are nice to us bad artists, and they make up for the bad apples. I haven't been flamed yet. Speaking of which, my own stuff is right here. Most of it is inspired by my fanfics, so you can see all what all the crazy characters you've
been reading about look like.
] Oekaki Central HUGE oekaki place, just like the title says. It has different boards separated by subject matter and art quality. If you're a beginner, it's easy to get lost in the shuffle, but I've really improved since I started drawing there.
] Bara-chan's Oekaki A non-restrictive oekaki site that I draw on from time to time. It's got some really spiffy artists on there, my dubious skill notwithstanding. Come check it out, maybe
try your hand.
] rapemeDOTorg - Oekaki BBS What's oekaki, you ask? Simple! Oekaki is like a message board, but it's for drawing pictures instead of
writing stuff. The artists on this particular board are SUPER talented, and it's well worth a look. Its 1337 (pronounced "leet": "elite" in hackerspeak) enough that you have to apply with a work of your own in order to post art on there, but ordinary schmoes can comment and tell the artists how good they are. Remember, we artists are very neurotic creatures, we need
a lot of love and reassurance.
Webcomics
] Club Ph34r The new home of Annie The Hardcore Gamer, as well as two other spiffy webcomics. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
] Eat The Roses Think Charlie's Angels meets James Bond meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and they all get together to whale on daytime soap operas. Sexy girls, sexy bishounen, spy action, angst and intrigue all done in a really sweet style. Just don't offer the girls roses.
] Chee-toy's Transformer's Continuum A weekly webcomic dedicated to the Godawful wonderfulness that is Transformers fandom. w00+. ;) The 'Chili Cookoff' series had me falling out of my chair laughing. Scared my roommate...
] The Lil World of Meekerz A cute lil webcomic. Done in chibi-style (big heads, childlike bodies) and just basically cuteness oozing out all over. Eh, I like it.
] pOnju GORGEOUS art. Odd name. A few webcomics, an oekaki, a message board, links... the whole shebang if you're interested in webcomics or web art. Or if you're bored.
] RPG World A webcomic set in Your Average Run-Of-The-Mill RPG. Hilarious, especially if you're into Final Fantasy.
] Annie the Hardcore Gamer Just what it sounds like. A girl who kicks butt in gaming. It's actually very well done too.
] SuperDeformers Parodies all Transformers series. Chibi Decepticons are a sight to see. And, of course, it's absolutely hilarious.
] Nuklearpower.com Ever hear of 8-Bit Theater? No? Then for the love of God, click here post-haste! This is the king of spritecomics (comics made using sprites
from video games) lampooning the very first Final Fantasy game. It's over two hundred pages long and still going. Check it out.
RPGs
] New World Conquest A message board RPG set in a post-apocolyptic universe. Fighters compete in a tri-yearly tournament to determine which nation will gain the top spot in the new world government. In the meantime, there's mutants, conspiracies, Earth chi, all kinds of crazy stuff. Join up and conquer the world.
] Dragontears RPMC Dragontears is a Role Playing Manga Circle (RPMC, get it?), which, of course, is a group of people who draw manga in an ongoing story. I know, I've never heard of it either. But it's
pretty cool. Check it out.
] Matsumoto High School This is basically a giant ongoing fanfic. Participants "host" characters from all different anime/manga/games,
and write journals of their lives with them at Matsumoto High. Really nifty. The only thing it suffers from is an underabundance of available characters for hosting - you're not allowed to host characters already
taken, and so many people participate on it that many of the good characters in most animes are taken already.
] Wazpinator'z Nezt Technically it's a generic Beast Wars message board, but its major draw (for me anyhow) is the RPG forum. There you can find Search For Scorponok, a Transformers roleplay set on the cusp of the Great Upgrade. Look for me under the username 'peppermintwind', read around a bit. We've got some good players so you won't be disappointed.
Transformers
] The Padded Cell Like Transformers? Insane? Then this is the place for you. Incidentally, I'm a newbie there myself, under the name peppermintwind, so you know you're in good company. n.n
] The Cybertron Archive Has practically EVERYTHING Transformers you could possibly want. Includes episode downloads of G1 PLUS the movie. Which is illegal. So don't tell anyone. But check it out. ::wink::
] Me Love Grimlock: Superdeformed Dinobots Homepage Cross Superdeformers.com with a Dinobot shrine and what do you get? Ta-da! A Superdeformed Dinobot haven worthy of Grimlock himself! Me Stella say, coolness! :D
] Lexicon From G1 to Armada, trukks to munkys, and shameless self-inserts to the best darn fanfiction you've ever read, this is the place to go for everything written about Transformers. Most of my Transformers-related stuff is up there (including a fic that doesn't appear on this site!) but yours truly is just one humble contributor amongst a plethora of outstanding writers. Well worth a look-see!
] Americanrose.net Run by a friend of mine, Liana Bluestar, this site is the home of the TransZone, a Transformers fanzine, as well as fics and art dedicated to our favorite giant robots - mostly Decepticons, but Li also has a special place in her heart for Ironhide. If you're wondering why I haven't been writing Dragonball Z lately, go to her site and find out what's been keeping me firmly in Transformerland.
] Thundercracker's Pile of Garbage And now for a Seeker of a different color. This site deliberately and maliciously celebrates everything that is bad about Transformers fanfiction. Also features the only Reflector shrine on the Internet. Believe me. I've looked.
] In Space, No One Can Hear Starscream Subtitled 'A Decepticon Page with Insecticon Sensibilities', this fic has just about everything to tickle your appetite. Stellar fics, art, bios, humor, Insecticomics - which are well worth a visit all by themselves. It's also where I adopted Starscream from, which speaks for itself.
] All That Jazz A Jazz shrine by a true priestess. What's more, a true priestess with some definite web design skillz. But really, all you need to know is that it's Jazz.
] Nightwind's Transfan Asylum Arguably the site that started it all.. 'all' meaning my current Transformers obsession. Run by Nightwind, the leader of the Padded Cell (all hail the Queen!) it has fics, screenshots (some decidedly silly), essays, episode guides, character profiles, all done in a decidedly intelligent style. Nightwind, hats off to ya.
] Starscream's Sanctuary As the name suggests, this is a site dedicated to Starscream. But that's not all, folks! My friend Starseeker has expanded this to include shrines, info, multimedia, and all kinds of cool stuff. Good way to spend an afternoon, I say.
Anime
] Angel-chan's Anime Theme Park Has a plethora of mp3s from various anime series. I think about half of my mp3 collection came from this place. Not to mention the layout of this site is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
] Dragon Ball Blast Anime reviews, general info, fansubs, merchandise, and a scorching editorial. Plus a coolio banner of Gohan going postal. Highly
recommended for you newbies to the anime scene.
] Sailor Moon Organization A highly spiffy site that you have to register to in order to get all it has to offer. Minors have to get their parents' permission to sign
up first - or at least you need to *say* you have permission... oops... did I say that out loud? ~.n Anyway, an ultra-worthwhile site for anybody even remotely interested in Sailor Moon.
] Rei's Anime Site Basic anime tutorial site with some fanfiction. Informative, written in terms most people can understand.
Despite the name, it's not a Sailor Moon-intensive site, devoting just as much webspace to other animes.
] Planet Anime Really nice, professional, loads of info on anime as well as other series. Also offers merchandise. Recommend you give this a look-see.
It'll take you a few days just to sort through all the info they've got.
] Muto Anime Basic anime site - links, fanwork, info, etc, but as an added bonus, downloadable games! I haven't played them myself, but they sure look interesting, especially if
you're a guy. It's basically a dating-conquest game. Macho, elitist, pigheaded concept - but actually kind of fun when you think about it.
] Anime*niacs Need I say more? But, then, I'm going to say more anyway. This is the official site of an anime club based in Tennessee. Excellent links page,
a dictionary of the most commonly used Japanese words in fandom (I get my best insults here ~.n) and of course fanfiction. Excellent quality site too.
] Gundam Project A shrine to everybody's favorite giant robots of mass destruction. Has information on all series, specs of Gundams, very nicely organized, sooo... GO TO THIS SITE!
If you've never heard of Gundams before, this is the perfect chance to get acquainted, and if you have heard of them, well, no more need be said.
] Animeboards.com Forum Well, this is rather self-explanatory. Animeboards is a big, huge, enormous, gigantic forum for all things anime. Ultra-kawaii source for all your anime info needs.
It's also pretty busy - 259 registered users at last count, which is really good for an anime board, so you're sure to find someone who shares your interests/has the info you need/is as crazy as you are. n.n;;
] AnimeHobbyist.com - For Otakus By Otakus Good source of downloads and info. Anime reviews, mostly by fans I gather, and extensive information/multimedia sections on two animes, Oh
My Goddess and Dragonball Z. More animes are in the works. Also some uber-kawaii layout!
] Power of the Righteous Babe Yeah! Girl power, baby! Whoohoo! ::sweatdrop:: Oops, sorry... got carried away there. Anyway, this is a cheeky Sailor Moon fanfiction site,
mostly paying tribute (homage... worship...) to a pop/rock/alternative self-published singer named Ani DiFranco. If you're a feminist, this is the site for you. As you could probably tell from the title.
] DBZ Evolved Yet another DBZ site! Can ya tell that's my favorite anime right now? Krillin... *.* ::swoon, blush, recover:: Ahem. Besides having TONS of DBZ info, DBZEvolved also
has a chat room, emulator game downloads (which are illegal, so don't download them!). The humor section had me in stitches. A very well-done, intelligent site.
] Carry Me Forever This site's a database of quotes from animes ranging from Sailor Moon to Gundam Wing to Neon Genesis Evangalion. Mostly it's moving or serious quotes, not much humor,
but the site is BEAUTIFULLY done. The webmasters/mistresses are better HTML and Javascript users than I'll ever be.
] Anime Globe Very useful anime resource. Several search engines on various topics, plus a Japanese<-->English translator. That's important minna! Also has web hosting, but I don't recommend it unless you
have FTP. Glitches galore...
The Rest Of It
] Pocket Bishounen! Well, here's a site that needs no introduction. Catch anime guys, train them (to do what is your business n.~), collect them -
and for you boys out there there's a link on their home page to Pocket Bishounen's sister site, Pocket Bishoujo.
] The Spectrum Lab Yet another all-purpose anime site. Coolio graphics, fanfiction - check it out!
] VillainSupply.com Planning a coup? Plotting world domination? Throwing the Earth into bloody chaos? Stock up on supplies here! Whether it's weapons of mass destruction, torture and imprisonment devices, or
that snazzy new Mafia suit you've had your eye on, get it here. Or, if they don't have it, you could always go to Vbay.
] Geek Chart How geeky are you, my fine fanfic-reading (and hopefully fanfic-writing) friend? Use this chart to locate yourself in the grand scheme of geekiness, or just to laugh at all the groups
of people who're geekier than you. Unless you happen to fall in on the bottom tier... then you're outta luck. Anyway, just click and you'll see what I mean.
] The 213 Things Skippy Is No Longer Allowed To Do In the US Army Military recruiters, take note: This and more is what will happen if you ever try to draft me. :P Yet another example of the falling-out-of-my-chair laughing phenomenon. Did you know Furbys aren't allowed on military grounds anymore? Wonder what brought that on...
] The Swedish Chef Homepage Those of us who grew up with the Muppets will swoon with nostalgia. The Swedish Chef was always one of my very faves. Bork bork bork! :D
] Fellowship Of the Peep Lord of the Rings, photodocumented with Peeps as the characters. Who comes up with these things?
